Guide to Purchasing Florals for Mistress Maisie

I adore flowers, and I typically always have a small arrangement  in my both kitchen and bedroom. As with many other things, I am very particular with florals, so I’ve written up a little guide to purchasing bouquets & arrangements for Me.

When purchasing flowers for Mistress Maisie, ensure that you are purchasing from a talented floral designer – I do not enjoy the “1-800-Flowers” or big box florist shop style of cookie cutter arrangements. I vastly prefer you focus your patronage on smaller, independent, unique floral designers.

If you’re unsure about selecting an arrangement, feel free to keep it utterly simple – My favorite flowers, hands down, are burgundy roses, followed by cream hydrangeas, cream peonies, and burgundy peonies. A bouquet of one of these is always going to bring a smile to My face. It doesn’t matter what time of year it is, if it’s a dinner date, a celebration like an Ownership anniversary, or a first-time meeting, choosing any of these four will always be a safe bet.

Now, if you’d like to choose a more impressive option, you may opt for a mixed arrangement. In that case, feel free to share the following preferences to help guide the designer.

Arrangement Preferences

-Love dark and moody colors, lush greenery, loose and wild design, dramatic and romantic vibes

-No baby’s breath, preference for greenery over filler flowers

-Not a fan of yellows and pinks, with the exception of a few favorites during spring and summer (listed below). Little hints of yellow or pink are fine if needed to bring contrast / balance to an arrangement, but a big ultrafeminine bunch with a million shades of pink is nottttttt something I would enjoy

-Not a fan of compact design, or rusric or minimalist vibes

In addition to My top favorites listed above, the following is a list of My other preferred flowers – I’m happy to receive any of these on their own as a dozen or two, or to see them featured in an arrangement.

Specific Floral Preferences:

Roses, daffodils in cream

Gardenias, orchids, peonies, or ranunculus in white

Dahlias, peonies or ranunculus in peach
